AP Chemistry Review: Course delivery
I deliver my AP® Chemistry Review course using two websites, the Classroom website and Cengage's WebAssign instructional platform. These websites allow me to provide customized instructional materials and interactive online assignments to ensure that students have all the tools and resources needed to be successful on the AP Chemistry exam and have a strong foundation for college chemistry. The course is asynchronous in that all materials are available 24/7, so you will be able to set your own study schedule.
Classroom website
When you log in to the Classroom website, you will see a tab for each of the 16 chemistry topics (AP01 - AP16). Behind each tab, you will find a comprehensive set of learning resources. You will be able to easily navigate through all the topics so that you can focus on the material for which you need the most help. The AP exam review consists of AP17 (MC review), AP18 (FRQ review), and AP19 (a full College Board-released AP Chemistry Exam). I have put together a comprehensive set of "Study Aids" (AP20) packed with exam advice and also flashcards to highlight and help you remember important parts of the AP Chemistry curriculum.
CENGAGE'S WebAssign® Digital Learning Platform
Used by over 2600 educational institutions, WebAssign® is a sophisticated, interactive homework and testing program and is an ideal learning tool. Because each chemistry question has multiple submissions, the assignments allow you to learn by doing. Many questions have hints, video explanations, and solutions to ensure that you understand every topic before you go on to the next one.

You will watch short, highly focused, and well-delivered videos that provide clear explanations of the chemistry topics. You can take a look at some of the videos on my public website.
LIVE ZOOM Sessions
During April, I will be holding a once weekly 1-hour live session using Zoom to answer any questions you might have about the exam. The first session will be on Monday, April 3, at 1:00 PM EDT. A day or two before the session, I will post a WebAssign announcement with the Zoom link and password. Dates and times for future sessions will vary to accommodate students in different time zones. I will record each session and post it on the Classroom website for students who cannot attend.
AP Chemistry Practice Exams
The AP® Chemistry exam has strict protocols and learning how to take the test is as important as knowing the material. I have designed practice exams for every topic in AP® Chemistry. My multiple-choice (MC) and free-response (FRQ) practice tests look just like the real AP® Chemistry exam, so you will have many opportunities to work on the questions and get used to their unique format. After every test, there is a follow-up assignment to fill in any gaps in your knowledge and sharpen your test-taking skills. In addition to the practice exams that I have written, you will have the opportunity to take AP® Chemistry exams released by the College Board.
AP CHEMISTRY REVIEW BINDER
Many textbooks and review courses include topics no longer covered on the AP Chemistry exam. I have written a series of outlines that provide a complete overview of AP Chemistry focusing on the topics covered on the AP exam. By the end of the 10-week course, you will have a binder that is a complete and perfect guide for your AP® Chemistry Exam review. Former students have used my outlines to help them in their college chemistry classes, and some have even used them to study for their MCATs!
WEBASSIGN GRADE BOOK
Although the review course is a non-credit course, each student will have an online, confidential grade book that automatically scores each chemistry assignment. Once a student has mastered a given topic, they can move on to the AP practice exams for the topic. Parents and students will be able to access the student's online grade book at any time, making it easy to follow student progress.
