Chemistry: Raymond Chang 

I will provide a digital version of the textbook that focuses on the material relevant to the AP® Chemistry exam. 

If you prefer a hardcopy, you can purchase Raymond Chang’s Chemistry (5th–13th edition) or General Chemistry: The Essential Concepts. Used copies are often available for $20 or less. No need to buy supplemental materials like CDs, study guides, or workbooks.

Solving AP Chemistry problems requires the use of a scientific or graphing calculator. 

I recommend the graphing calculator over the scientific calculator because the graphing calculators have multi-line screens and equation solving capabilities.

Any of the TI-80 series graphing calculators will work very well in AP Chemistry.
 

New graphing calculators cost over $100, but used TI-80 series graphing calculators can readily be found 

on-line at significantly reduced prices. Used graphing calculators are only slightly more expensive than a new scientific calculator.
